2023 — 2024 Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Kingjada Hotels
& Apartments.

This was the project that put Kinara in the hospitality industry. A full furniture procurement for an 81-room hotel in Dar es Salaam city centre — beds, consoles, seating, side tables, and casegoods across every room.

It was the first time we operated at this scale and it proved what the workshop was capable of. Everything made in Dar es Salaam. Everything delivered on time.

This project set the standard for every hospitality contract that followed.

2024 — 2025 Nyasirori, Serengeti · Tanzania

Asanja Nyasirori
Serengeti.

A safari camp in the Serengeti — one of the most demanding environments for furniture. The pieces needed to hold up to heat, humidity, and constant use while sitting comfortably in one of Africa's most iconic landscapes.

Mninga and kiln-dried Teak throughout. Kinara also maintained the furniture after delivery — a service that reflects how we think about the relationship with a client.

2025 Zanzibar, Tanzania

Ma'a Salaama
Boutique Resort.

A boutique resort on Zanzibar — where the guests come from everywhere and the standard for finish and detail is set accordingly. The brief called for pieces that felt considered without being showy.

Bedroom furniture and all seating areas — upholstery done in-house. Solid timber throughout. Everything packaged and coordinated for island delivery.
